Finisher

The Finisher is responsible for applying various finishes to high quality various surfaces. As a finisher, you will be hands-on, handling the preparation, staining, spraying, and finishing of custom pieces for our projects. You will be working in the Finishing Department in a flow-based production environment. Must be self-motivated and work effectively in a team environment.

Required Skills

• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
• Ability to keep work areas clean and organized.
• Knowledge of various finish techniques, applications, and products
• Detail oriented.
• High quality standards.
• Ability to use hand tools correctly and safely.
• Good eye for color matches.

Primary Responsibilities

• Spray finishing and Hand finishing.
• Care and maintenance of finishing equipment.
• Finish custom woodwork and various materials with lacquer-based products, clear finishes, and custom stains.
• Create custom match stains.
• Continuously monitor your progress to optimize the efficiency of projects.
• Be able to produce finishes correctly.
• Job site fixes and repairs.
• All aspects of bringing cabinetry to finish.
• Consistently reproduce finishes.

• Coordinate with lead finisher and project manager for task and deadlines.
• Finish preparation.
• Report inventory and consumables to lead.
• Documenting special procedures for future tracking.
• Wrapping and packing.
• Disposal of Hazardous materials.
