Key Requirements For Welding Instructors
- 3 years of related practical work experience in welding
- OSHA 10 certification (required within first 3 months)
- NCCER credentials (current upon hire or obtained within determined timeframe)
- High school diploma/GED
- Great communication skills
- Proficient in technology
- Teaching experience is a plus
- Teach and provide hands-on training in Welding Technology in our fully equipped facility
- Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum using our Blended Learning Model
- Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability through advising and mentoring
- Evaluate and communicate progress with students fairly and consistently
- Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance
- Maintain a professional, visitor-ready classroom environment
- Complete Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program
- Prepare students for a successful career in the field of Welding Technology
