What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool Crib Specialist position at Lincoln Tech?
Come join our team of talented professionals at Lincoln Tech. We are seeking a responsible Tool Crib Specialist, who will oversee the inventory and general upkeep. You would keep an inventory of all tools and make sure that safety regulations are followed.
Responsibilities of a Tool Crib Specialist
- Secure all of the contents of the shop at the beginning and at the end of the shift
- Perform a walk-through of the shop at the beginning and end of each shift, making sure that all contents are clean and secure
- Distribute tools and other items, based on the school guidelines
- Check equipment back in, ensuring that all accessories checked out with auxiliary equipment (cables, adaptors, power supplies, chips, keys, extension cords, etc.) are accounted for
- Keep the consumable supplies stocked
- Advise the supervisor of needed materials
- Complete a regular inventory of the tool room in a written report
Requirements of a Tool Crib Specialist
- High school diploma or GED
- Attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a passion for quality
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel
