As a part-time Medical Assisting Instructor, you'll have access to all the tools and resources needed to effectively deliver our curriculum and inspire students pursuing Medical Assisting careers. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Medical Assisting courses using Lincoln Tech's established, ACCSC-accredited curriculum
- Provide hands-on skills training in our fully equipped medical laboratory
- Prepare students for the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam through American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Teach safety protocols and compliance standards
- Foster student development, professionalism, and accountability
- Monitor and communicate student progress effectively
- Create an engaging, motivating classroom environment
- Prepare students for successful healthcare careers
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant experience
- Current RMA, CMA (AAMA), or CCMA (NHA) certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel
- Teaching or coaching experience is a plus
Schedule
Monday-Thursday, 10 hour shifts.
Fridays additional 1-2 times yearly (calendar available far in advance).
Shift determined by courses scheduled each module (5 week modules) i.e.:
7:00 am - 5:30 pm
12:00 pm - 10:30 pm
7:45 am - 12:15 pm/5:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Our campus offers morning, afternoon and evening classes.
