Automotive Technology Lab Instructor
Picture your week: four focused days on campus, three days to recharge. Each shift begins in a climate-controlled lab where you turn real vehicles and industry-standard tools into a living classroom. You’ll guide small groups through Lincoln Tech’s accredited curriculum, demonstrate safe procedures, and help learners connect theory with hands-on practice.
What you’ll do
- Lead practical, shop-based lessons in Automotive Technology using our fully equipped facility.
- Deliver Lincoln Tech’s accredited coursework with clarity and consistency.
- Coach professionalism and accountability; inspire steady growth and confidence.
- Assess student work, provide clear feedback, and track progress.
- Set the standard for safety and regulatory compliance in every lab activity.
- Prepare students for career success and ASE exam readiness.
What you bring
- 3 years as an Automotive Technician.
- Former or current ASE certifications (G1, A6 required).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort with classroom technology.
- Prior teaching or training experience is a plus.
