What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR position at Lincoln Residential Center?
BASIC FUNCTION
Plans, develops, organizes, implements, monitors and evaluates the Recreation/Activity Program in accordance with current existing Federal, State, local and facility regulations, codes, standards and policies to ensure that the individual emotional, recreational and social needs of residents are addressed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION
Certified Recreational Therapist.
- EXPERIENCE
6 months to one-year minimum experience in related work.
- GENERAL
Must have and maintain a current Driver’s License to drive all vehicles used in the facility’s recreation program, i.e., vans, buses, etc.
