What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician, OT/PT Support, 8 hrs/day, 260 days position at Lincoln Public Schools?
Duties will include but are not limited to coordination/tracking of adaptive equipment needs in schools, completion/monitoring/prioritizing sewing and building requests, working with therapists on meeting student equipment needs across the district including new schools and completing yearly ordering list in cooperation with team leaders. Work with staff on ensuring equipment is moved to schools, tracking of available equipment currently in schools but not in use. Clean, sterilize, and/or launder returned equipment. Track supplies needed for building and sewing projects and for student needs. Maintain working knowledge of current equipment vendors. Move small equipment or coordinate movement of larger equipment needed in emergency situations to maintain student safety. Attain equipment from LPS surplus to be adapted for student use. Problem solving with therapists regarding student specific needs. Efficiently and safely storing/maintaining tools, materials and adaptive equipment.
Education level: High school diploma or GED
Calendar: 183-day/8 hrs/day
Starting rate of pay: $19.36/hr
