MULTILINGUAL LEARNERS (ML) TUTOR

Primary Purpose
To deliver high quality support aimed at accelerating English language learning by exposing students to language support through content-based curriculum.
Contractual Relationship
Position reports to the Assistant Superintendent.
Responsibilities
- Differentiates support to meet the needs of individual students across grade levels and classrooms;
- Works closely with the three multilingual learner teachers to ensure the needs of multilingual learners are met and students have access to the curriculum;
- Participates in professional development activities consistent with the district’s goals and needs of English Learners;
- Support students at both The Lincoln School and The Hanscom School.
Qualifications
- Personal vehicle/transportation in order to travel between the The Lincoln School and The Hanscom School. (Travel costs between campuses is reimbursed by the district)
