What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hourly AVID Tutor, 2026-2027 position at Lincoln Public Schools?
Location: Secondary Schools
Seeking individuals to assist and support students academically in specific elective classes in a 6th through 12th grade setting.
Tutorials occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays in AVID classes as scheduled by individual buildings. The work schedule will be established by the AVID Curriculum Specialist at LPS. Training will also be provided and must be completed prior to working directly with students.
Academic Requirement: Must be currently enrolled in college, or have an Associates degree or higher. Successful candidate for this position will be required to submit an official transcript to verify they have met the educational requirement posted.
This position is subject to a veterans preference.
