What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hanscom Summer Library Assistant position at Lincoln Public Schools (MA)?
The Hanscom Summer Library Assistant will open the Hanscom School library once a week for 3 hours to support summer reading and family connection with the school community. The Summer Library Assistant will work independently under the direction of the Hanscom School Librarian and the Director of Educational Operations and Technology. Responsibilities include checking out/in books, creating library records for new students, assisting families and students with book selection, and supervising the library. Prior experience with the Destiny library management software, including creating and managing new student accounts and processing returned materials, is a requirement of this position.
