Duties as a Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT

• Coordinate and perform daily skilled respiratory assessments, treatments and documentation
• Work collaboratively with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy to provide a comprehensive interdisciplinary plan of care for the patients
• Assess patients' conditions, vital signs, and progress
• Adjust equipment and supplies for respiratory care and treatment
• Educate patients on breathing exercises and how to use respiratory equipment
• Administer medications for various respiratory conditions
• Plan, implement, and assess treatment plans for patients with respiratory illnesses/compromised respiratory function.
  
  
  

Qualifications Required As a Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT

• Must have valid NJ RRT license.
• Knowledge of respiratory care protocols.
