What are the responsibilities and job description for the MyLinc ITM Teller position at Lincoln National Bank?
Purpose of position: Provide teller services remotely to customers via ITM video platform and to recognize customers’ needs and suggest appropriate bank services in a friendly manner.
Education, Training & Experience:
- Prefer a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of computer applications such as Word, Excel, Sentryfile, ITM Teller Platform and NuPoint (CSI).
This position has no supervisor responsibilities.
Physical and Mental Qualifications
- Must sit for extended periods of time(85%)
- Must stand/walk for extended periods of time (15%)
- Requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching and handling
- Requires speaking, hearing and seeing
- Must have hand dexterity to operate computer
- Able to react and adapt to change
- Must be able to lift / carry up to 30 lbs.
- Able to wear a headset - earphones with a microphone
- Problem Solving
Essential Job Duties:
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly service to customers at all times.
- Professionally and remotely process customary teller transactions and/or customer service inquiries via interactive technological channels
- Actively pursue opportunities to establish new relationships and to expand existing customer relationships
- Maintains knowledge of bank products, services, online and mobile banking
- Accurately completes necessary steps, paperwork and procedures within established guidelines to complete customer’s requests for various services and products
- Able to assist customers in a primarily independent environment via video
- Efficiently interprets and explains bank charges, policies, procedures, special programs and rates in terms to ensure customer understanding of information being communicated
- Performs daily balancing routine to ensure all transactions post properly
- Maintains compliance with various banking regulations, laws and policies
- Maintains the customer’s confidentiality
- Proactively serves as a liaison for the customer and takes ownership of customer problems. Pursues solutions on behalf of the customer and resolves issues
- Maintains a professional appearance and behavior
- Agrees and understands that customer transactions conducted via ITM are recorded for training and quality assurance purposes
