Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and learning activities.
- Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall quality of care provided.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children.
- Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children as required.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- First aid certification is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
