The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing entity data, user accounts, overseeing the onboarding and offboarding processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of our core identity systems (IAM, Mainframe, Partner platforms) and downstream applications with dependencies on these user accounts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing entity data, user accounts, overseeing the onboarding and offboarding processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of our core identity systems (IAM, Mainframe, Partner platforms) and downstream applications with dependencies on these user accounts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- User Account Management:
- Create, modify, and delete user accounts on the core Lincoln identity systems.
- Monitor and maintain user access levels, roles, attributes, and permissions.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Onboarding:
- Set up new user accounts and configure access based on role requirements.
- Collaborate with Lincoln HR and the Affiliate Onboarding and Licensing teams, DWP Ops, and other departments to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Offboarding:
- Deactivate user accounts and revoke access for departing employees and affiliates.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with data retention policies.
- Coordinate with HR, Licensing, DWP Ops and other departments to manage the offboarding process.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor system access and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Perform regular maintenance on users as prescribed in requests from the Service Desk.
- Support project work where changes to user accounts, roles, attributes, or access are required.
- Assist in the implementation and validation of system upgrades and patches.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of user accounts and access levels.
- Generate reports on system usage and access for auditing purposes.
- Maintain an onboarding and offboarding procedure approved by Compliance and IT leadership and support these procedures in any audit or examinations from auditors and regulators.
- Document procedures and best practices for user account management.
- Previous experience as an AS/400 Computer Operator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of system operations and user account management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with users at all levels.
- Knowledge of security policies and procedures related to user account management.
- Experience with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Familiarity with HR processes and collaboration.
- Familiarity with IAM platforms and profile/account management.
- Familiarity with Financial identity platforms in a multi-vendor/multi-partner scenario.
- Certification in AS/400 system operations or related field.
- This position may require occasional after-hours work to perform system maintenance or address urgent issues.
- The role may involve working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
