Financial Advisor (Skokie, IL)
Basic Function: We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Financial Advisor to step into a succession opportunity with an established book of business. This is a unique chance to build relationships with existing clients while continuing to grow the practice.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience managing or transitioning a book of business.
- Background in retirement planning, wealth management, or estate planning.
Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, financial planning tools, and portfolio management.
- High ethical standards and a fiduciary mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and financial planning software
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Financial Advisor or similar client-facing financial services role.
- Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (or Series 63 and 65).
Physical/Other Requirements: May sit at workstation for extended periods of time; may view video display screen for extended periods of time also. Periods of fast pace are normal particularly when working to meet deadlines.
