Advisor Service/Operations Associate I

Basic Function: Reporting to the Advisor Services Manager, the Operations Specialist supports the day‑to‑day Asset Movement activities for their assigned department. Responsibilities may vary based on departmental needs but typically include processing disbursement requests, initiating deposits and transfers, handling advisor and other field-level inquiries, and performing other duties as assigned.

We seek a motivated, self‑starting, and passionate team player to join our firm as an Operations Specialist. This role requires an exceptional level of attention to detail, as it supports a high‑risk area of the firm where accuracy and precision are critical. The Operations Specialist must also be highly organized and able to multitask effectively, balancing multiple tasks and processes simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. In addition, the role requires strong client service skills, along with the ability to learn quickly, retain knowledge, and confidently interact with financial advisors and their staff while managing operational responsibilities.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Execute and oversee the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including but not limited to account disbursements, transfers, and deposits
- Review paperwork for accuracy, completeness and clearly communicate with advisors and other field staff if items need attention
- Process daily transactions while meeting process requirements, SLAs and achieving quality metrics
- Communicate NIGO issues to Advisors and other field staff and follow-up according to standard procedures
- Comply with policy and procedures of the team and corresponding regulatory requirements
- Develop working relationships with internal and external Lincoln associates and branch offices
Knowledge/Experience:
- Preferred:
- Financial Services experience
- Investment/operations/transaction processing experience
- Strong knowledge of business computer applications (Microsoft Excel and Word)
- Prior customer service experience
- Helpful:
- Knowledge of NetX360 preferred
- Previous experience in same-day processing environment
- Retirement Plans knowledge

Education/Training: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience

Physical/Other Requirements: May sit at workstation for extended periods of time; may view computer screen for extended periods of time. Periods of fast pace are typical particularly when working to meet daily deadlines.
