Lincoln Internal Medicine Associates (LIMA) is seeking a compassionate, dependable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing outpatient practice. As we continue to expand—including the addition of another physician in 2027—we're looking for an exceptional team member who enjoys caring for patients while working alongside experienced physicians, physician assistants, and a supportive clinical team.

Your Role
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping our providers deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcome and room patients
- Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as permitted by certification and state regulations
- Perform EKGs, spirometry, ear irrigations, and other clinical procedures
- Assist providers during examinations and treatments
- Process medication refill requests
- Coordinate referrals, laboratory testing, and diagnostic procedures
- Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Support OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and quality initiatives

Qualifications
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Previous outpatient or primary care experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with electronic medical records is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
