Fence Laborer

Overview
Join a fast-paced, hands-on team as a Fence Laborer and play a key role in building high-quality residential, commercial, and industrial fencing solutions. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, working outdoors, and developing practical construction skills. You will support fence installation projects from start to finish, contributing to durable structures that enhance and secure outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation and repair of various fence types, including wood, vinyl, and chain link, as well as gates
- Measure and lay out fence lines, mark post locations, and ensure accurate project alignment
- Dig post holes, mix and pour concrete, and set posts using levels or plumb lines
- Assemble and install fence panels, rails, and components using hand and power tools
- Support site preparation, including clearing debris and leveling ground
- Perform basic carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Assist with gate operator installation when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and to specification
- Travel to residential, commercial, and industrial job sites as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in fence installation or construction is highly preferred
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, masonry, or concrete work is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding labor, including heavy lifting and working outdoors in varying conditions
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Valid California Driver’s License required
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
