Position Overview:

A leading U.S.-based manufacturer of high-performance heavy-duty engines is seeking a Production Engineer to support its production and engineering teams. This role focuses on reducing costs, improving product quality, and driving process improvements through review of non-conformance reports, engineering changes, and collaboration with operations and procurement teams. The Production Engineer will serve as a technical expert on parts and drawings, providing guidance across production and manufacturing functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and disposition Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) daily.
• Create and review inspection sheets.
• Support production troubleshooting and floor issues.
• Prepare and update engineering drawings and bills of materials.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve issues and prevent reoccurrence.
• Support purchasing through product and supplier review.
• Evaluate material substitutions to ensure functional performance.
• Document best practices and standard work procedures with operator input.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Diesel Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD software, SolidWorks preferred.
• Knowledge of combustion engines or mechanical systems strongly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
• U.S. citizenship required due to access restrictions for certain technical data; dual citizenship is not permitted.
