Production Engineer – Engineering Division

Position Overview:
A leading U.S.-based manufacturer of high-performance heavy-duty engines is seeking a Production Engineer to support its production and engineering teams. This role focuses on reducing costs, improving product quality, and driving process improvements through review of non-conformance reports, engineering changes, and collaboration with operations and procurement teams. The Production Engineer will serve as a technical expert on parts and drawings, providing guidance across production and manufacturing functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and disposition Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) daily.
- Create and review inspection sheets.
- Support production troubleshooting and floor issues.
- Prepare and update engineering drawings and bills of materials.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve issues and prevent reoccurrence.
- Support purchasing through product and supplier review.
- Evaluate material substitutions to ensure functional performance.
- Document best practices and standard work procedures with operator input.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Diesel Engineering.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Proficiency with CAD software, SolidWorks preferred.
- Knowledge of combustion engines or mechanical systems strongly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
- U.S. citizenship required due to access restrictions for certain technical data; dual citizenship is not permitted.
