Position Summary
Responsible for identifying materials per print, moving materials throughout shop and operating horizontal band saw all in a safe and timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate CNC horizontal band saw;
- Change out blades and setup machine properly;
- Maintain minimal-to-no rework or scrap;
- Operate fork trucks and overhead cranes safely;
- Keep work area clean and organized; and
- Other duties as assigned.
- Able to read metric and standard tape measure;
- Able to read and interpret blueprints;
- Basic computer skills;
- High attention to detail and quality;
- Must work well under pressure;
- Good team player with organizational and time management skills;
- Able to operate fork trucks and overhead cranes safely; and
- Able to keep work area clean and organized.
- Understand the Company’s EHS Policy and how it relates to this job;
- Be aware of OSHA & EPA laws and regulations as well as company rules and policies that pertain to this job;
- Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and observe all company EHS procedures;
- Immediately notify the supervisor if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly or if there are any questions regarding EHS procedures, and
- Attend required EHS training.
