What are the responsibilities and job description for the MCFH Program Support Coordinator position at Lincoln County?
The Maternal, Child, and Family team in Lincoln County's Health and Human Services department is looking for the right candidate to take on the role of Program Support Coordinator. This position provides a wide array of clerical and administrative program support, and internal and external coordination with and for all Maternal Child and Family Health (MCFH) Programs.
This is a very important role for us, which also includes aiding in the coordination of programs across MCFH section of Public Health. Building knowledge of MCFH program in the community through navigation, outreach, social support, and advocacy. Supporting day to day operations while providing valuable administrative support to leadership for advisory boards and other community engagement events.
$25.32 - $34.04 per hour*

Minimum Education Level
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum Experience Level
Two- Three years in referral coordination within a governmental or private non-profit health care system.
Oregon Driver's License required within 30 days of hire.
Desirable Qualifications:
Any training or courses that supplement education in typing and computer entry. An associate degree and experience working within a governmental or private non-profit health care system is preferred. Experience working with Public Health and or MCFH specifically preferred. Bilingual and/or bicultural competencies for the Hispanic population are preferred. Relevant certifications that are able to support MCFH programs.
Knowledge of:
- Experienced knowledge of home visiting and MCFH programs, program eligibility, dual enrollment ability, and program coordination for clients.
- A working knowledge of all MCFH programs and eligibility requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of administrative office practices, spelling, composition, and mathematical calculation.
- Working knowledge of standard reporting practices.
- Administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, record keeping and reporting, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Insurance verification training and working knowledge of Medicaid and Medicaid eligibility requirements.
