BASIC FUNCTION:
Establish, support and maintain relationships in the community and within the school system which enriches the lives of parents, guardians, families and students. Establish, support and maintain ongoing, two-way, communication which informs all stakeholders regarding the mission and vision and progress of the Lincoln County Early Childhood Program.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
- Plan, implement, and support the Early Childhood Program’s engagement of families and support systems with community partners
- Coordinate program wide family learning activities, documenting and maintaining records, parent surveys and forms
- Coordinate spring registration
- Establish, strengthen and maintain relationships with community partners
- Plan, implement, support, and document the recruitment, training and scheduling of parent volunteers across the program
- Work closely to support the Policy Council and serve as a resource for Parent committees.
- Encourage and support parents in addressing community needs, advocate for families and encourage parents to serve in leadership roles
- Coordinate and facilitate Preschool Interagency Planning Committee and Parent, Family, and Community Engagement meetings
- Work with the Program Coordinator and Family Liaisons to develop an annual parent training plan based on needs assessment and data reflection
- Plan, implement, and support program-wide parent communication via program newsletter, registration flyers, brochures, handbooks, various social media platforms, website, etc.
- Coordinate and compile the community needs assessment and programmatic self-assessment process and documentation. Review and share information
- Attend community meetings as a representative of the Lincoln County Early Childhood Program.
- Work with Family Liaisons, Family Resource Center Coordinators, and Community Partners to strengthen partnerships and maintain a current resource guide
- Participate in and support all School Readiness and Family engagement activities and trainings as requested
- Coordinate all aspects of Policy Council, recruit and maintain up to date parent and community membership, prepare and disseminate meeting information, meeting minutes, and correspondence
- Conduct new policy member orientation
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to social, human, or family services
Experience in a field related to social, human, or family services preferred
Salary: As established by the salary schedule determined by the Lincoln County Board of Education.
