CNC Machinist Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. This will be a 2nd shift position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC Mills or Lathes. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Setup tools, vices and operate Haas CNC mills or Mazak lathes, to fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and micrometers to ensure accuracy of finished products.
- Interpret engineering drawings.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
- 2nd shift position
- 10hour days, 4 days a week or 8 hour days, 5 days a week
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Mill Machinist, at least 4 years preferred.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of Fusion 360 programming is preferred but not required.
- Understanding of GD&T principles and their application in machining processes.
- Experience with lean manufacturing practices is advantageous.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
