Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced emergency medical care including airway management, medication administration, and trauma treatment to patients on scene and during transport
• Operate emergency vehicles safely while navigating city streets and complex traffic conditions to reach patients promptly
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations to determine the severity of injuries or illnesses
• Perform critical care procedures such as venipuncture, injection administration, and neonatal resuscitation when necessary
• Manage trauma scenes utilizing incident command principles to coordinate patient care efficiently with other first responders
• Transport patients safely to hospitals or trauma centers while providing continuous medical support en route
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, vital signs, medical interventions, and incident reports in compliance with protocols

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Paramedic with current licensure in the applicable jurisdiction
• Proven experience in critical care environments such as hospital emergency rooms or Level I/II trauma centers
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, trauma medicine, cardiovascular emergencies, and emergency medicine protocols
• Hands-on experience with medical equipment operation including DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and airway management tools
• Familiarity with medical terminology, aseptic techniques, venipuncture, and medication administration procedures
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or driving under urgent conditions
• Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to remain calm under pressure during high-stakes situations
