Lincoln Charter Township Police Department Is Now Hiring a
FULL TIME POLICE OFFICER
Requirements:
- Must be MCOLES certified
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid Michigan driver’s license with no restrictions
- No felony convictions
- Must pass a psychological/physical exam
- Must pass drug screening and oral assessment
- Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Employment Conditions:
Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, the candidate must successfully complete:
- Department firearms qualification program
- Field Training Officer (FTO) program
- Probationary period (up to one year)
Compensation and Benefits:
Current Starting Pay: $71,696 annually ($34.47/hour); may be adjusted based on prior police experience. Top Pay: Achieved after three consecutive years of employment.
Pay Range Schedule:
- Start: $71,696
- After 1 Year: $76,782
- After 2 Years: $81,143
