Lincoln Academy is seeking a detail-oriented, student-centered Career and Academic Counseling Coordinator to support the work of our Career and Academic Counseling (CAC) Office. This full-time, academic-year position provides front-line assistance to students, families, faculty, and staff while managing a wide range of academic data, scheduling, and communication responsibilities. This position requires occasional work during the summer break.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
•Serving as a key point of contact for the CAC Office, including in-person support, phone, and email communication
•Managing student scheduling, college and military visit calendars, and coordinating CAC events
•Supporting transcript requests and uploading academic records to Naviance
•Assisting with scholarship processes, senior surveys, and college fair coordination
•Managing academic data in PowerSchool, including grades, credit updates, report cards, honor roll, GPA/rank calculations, and athletic eligibility records
•Providing technical liaison support for SIS and Naviance
•Assisting with SAT/PSAT testing coordination and proctoring
•Sending CAC-related communications through School Messenger and updating announcements and calendars
•Supporting AP exam processes and documentation
•Performing additional duties as assigned, including occasional Main Office coverage
The successful candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, comfort with student information systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy school environment.
Employment is subject to a background check, and all employees must hold or obtain authorization from the Department of Education (CHRC) to work in a Maine school.
