Maintenance Planner
Responsible for planning of all Maintenance activities, including day-to-day operations and special projects
Powering Vehicles, Motion, Work, and Lives since 1966.
Performance Expectations
- Enter data from completed work orders into the CMMS.
- Generate PM work orders and schedule task for maintenance personnel and contractors.
- Keep track of all machines and machine numbers and up-date machine master file.
- Populate spreadsheets, data bases, forms and other necessary documents for different applications as need by the Maintenance Manager and supervisors.
- Work with Maintenance Manager and supervisors on identification and procurement of machine parts.
- Work with tool and supply to setup spare parts in tool crib and maintenance inventory.
- Enter purchase requisitions
- Work with Maintenance Manager on planning and tracking of special projects
Credentials
- Previous Manufacturing experience is an asset
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be computer literate. Ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Minimum of two years of experience in technical field preferred
- Organization skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Ability to work independently but also in a team setting to support maintenance activities
- Ability to read and understand blueprints preferred
- Troubleshooting and process knowledge
- PM experience preferred
- Ability to work all rotating shifts
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Must be willing to learn
- Work independently and as part of a team
