Job Title : Cycle Counter
Job Summary
Reporting to the MP& L Manager, the Inventory Control/Cycle Counter is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory at the plant as well as offsite locations.
Responsibility
- Perform Daily Cycle counts.
- Providing root cause for inventory that does not meet standards.
- Implementation of earn labels and barcoding throughout the plan.
- Assist all departments with Production reporting as needed.
- Work with all departments on process improvements as it relates to production reporting and inventory accuracy.
- Analyze PRP/MRD system and problem solve .
- Aid shipping/receiving department regarding customer inquiries.
- Participate in continuous improvement teams assigned by the manager .
- Work with all Departments to resolve issues.
- 5s work area.
- Lead year-end activities – inventory and ACCUMS adjustment.
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines for the plant.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience with MS Office and MRP/ERP system (Plex) and maintain the system when errors occur.
- Knowledge of quality control systems and standards .
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of Inventory Control.
- 3 years proven experience as Cycle counter, preferably in an automotive setting.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to gather, interpret, and analyze information.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to take initiative, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Must be able to write and complete required paperwork.
- Must have basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
