Job Title: Night Shift Cleaning Supervisor (Bilingual)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, highly organized, and bilingual (English/Spanish) Night Shift Cleaning Supervisor to oversee our environmental services and janitorial team. With 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, you will be responsible for managing nightly operations, directing staff, ensuring compliance with cleanliness and safety standards, and maintaining seamless communication between management and the crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Supervision: Direct, motivate, and supervise the night shift cleaning crew. Assign nightly tasks and ensure all duties are completed efficiently and up to company standards.
• Operational Organization: Coordinate shift schedules, manage time-cards, and optimize workflow to ensure full coverage of the facility.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct routine inspections of designated areas to guarantee top-tier cleanliness, addressing any deficiencies immediately.
• Training & Development: Onboard and train new hires on cleaning techniques, specialized machinery, and proper chemical handling.
• Inventory & Supply Management: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting restocking needs to upper management.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, hazardous material handling guidelines (OSHA), and security procedures for a night-shift operation.
• Bilingual Communication: Serve as the primary bridge of communication, delivering clear instructions and feedback to a diverse team in both English and Spanish.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3 years of proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor, Janitorial Lead, or a similar role in commercial cleaning.
• Language: Fully bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
• Shift Availability: Ability to work the night shift consistently (e.g., 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM ).
• Leadership Skills: Strong capability to lead, resolve conflicts, and foster a cooperative, productive team environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial cleaning methods, heavy-duty equipment (buffers, extractors), and chemical safety sheets (SDS).
