We are expanding our strategic partnership with Mayo Clinic and seeking a local Physician Liaison who can build strong, trusted relationships with clinical and operational teams, drive engagement, and enhance the credibility and visibility of Lin Health within this key account.
Position Summary
The Physician Liaison will serve as Lin Health’s on-the-ground representative to Mayo Clinic, fostering relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and operational leaders. This individual will work to understand clinical needs, support successful integration of Lin Health services, identify opportunities for growth, and ensure a seamless experience for both Mayo Clinic staff and patients.
You will be the face of Lin Health within this strategic partnership — a connector, educator, problem-solver, and relationship builder.
Key ResponsibilitiesRelationship Building & Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with Mayo Clinic physicians, APPs, nursing staff, care coordinators, and operational leaders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical and administrative inquiries regarding Lin Health programs.
- Conduct regular in-person visits to clinics, departments, and service lines across Minneapolis, Rochester, and surrounding areas.
Engagement & Communication
- Educate clinicians and staff on Lin Health’s programs, outcomes, workflows, and referral pathways.
- Deliver presentations, in-services, and updates to care teams and leadership groups.
- Communicate feedback from Mayo Clinic teams internally to improve operations, product experiences, and clinical collaboration.
Program Support & Growth
- Monitor referral activity, identify barriers, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize engagement.
- Identify new areas of opportunity within the Mayo Clinic system to expand Lin Health’s reach.
- Support onboarding of new clinicians or departments adopting Lin Health services.
Operational & Clinical Understanding
- Learn and understand relevant workflows within Mayo Clinic to ensure alignment with Lin Health’s services.
- Troubleshoot operational issues collaboratively to maintain seamless integration.
- Partner with clinical, product, and operations teams at Lin Health to ensure the program meets partner expectations.
QualificationsRequired:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in physician relations, clinical outreach, healthcare account management, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — able to build rapport quickly with busy clinicians.
- Located in Minneapolis or Rochester with the ability to travel regularly (up to 40–50%) between sites.
Preferred:
- Experience working with large health systems (Mayo Clinic experience a plus).
- Familiarity with chronic pain management, behavioral health, or digital health services.
- Background in nursing, clinical coordination, or practice liaison roles.
- Ability to present data and program outcomes clearly to clinical audiences.
