Position Overview:
Limitless Vendor Management is seeking a highly detail-oriented Telecommunications Data & Inventory Specialist with real-world telecommunications industry experience.
This role supports enterprise telecom audit, inventory, and migration projects for large multi-location organizations. The position focuses on telecom billing validation, carrier documentation, account inventory development, and structured project tracking across multiple telecom carriers and services.
The ideal candidate has experience working in telecom carrier environments, telecom billing departments, telecom service providers, or enterprise telecom management roles, and understands the complexity of telecom account structures, circuit inventories, service addresses, and billing records.
This position requires a professional who combines strong technical data entry discipline with telecom operational knowledge and who is comfortable contacting vendors, carriers, and client contacts directly to obtain documentation and clarify account details when needed.
Core Responsibilities:
Telecom Inventory & Data Management
• Build and maintain comprehensive telecom service inventories including accounts, subaccounts, circuits, services, and billing hierarchies
• Document service addresses, branch locations, service types, and circuit identifiers
• Maintain structured telecom account documentation across multiple carriers
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness within centralized inventory and reporting systems
Telecom Billing & Invoice Review
• Collect and review telecom invoices from multiple carriers
• Validate billing accuracy against documented services and inventory records
• Identify unused services, billing discrepancies, or cost optimization opportunities
• Maintain invoice tracking logs and billing documentation
Carrier Documentation & Account Coordination
• Prepare and process telecom carrier documentation including:
- Customer Service Records (CSR requests)
- Letters of Authorization (LOA)
- Address changes
- Account ownership transfer requests
- Billing contact updates
• Coordinate with telecom carriers to obtain documentation and confirm service details
Vendor & Carrier Communication
• Contact telecom carriers, vendors, and client contacts to obtain required documentation and service information
• Follow up with carriers to resolve billing discrepancies or missing records
• Maintain clear communication records for vendor interactions
Candidates must be comfortable picking up the phone and contacting carriers when necessary to obtain documentation and resolve account questions.
Project Support & Documentation Governance
• Support telecom account migrations, acquisition integrations, and vendor transitions
• Maintain project tracking logs for account transfers and service changes
• Track invoice ownership and billing responsibility transitions
• Assist with project reporting and documentation packages
Required Qualifications
• Prior experience working in the telecommunications industry
• Understanding of telecom services including voice circuits, data circuits, analog lines, and enterprise telecom services
• Strong data entry and documentation management capabilities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational discipline
• Ability to manage structured data across large telecom environments
• Confidence communicating with vendors, carriers, and client contacts
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working for a telecommunications carrier or telecom service provider
• Telecom billing analysis or telecom operations experience
• Experience managing telecom service inventories
• Project management or telecom project coordination experience (major plus)
• Experience working in enterprise multi-location telecom environments
