Trailer Assembly Technician
About the Position
Limitless Trailers is looking for hardworking and dependable individuals to join our production team as Trailer Assembly Technicians. This position plays a critical role in the final stages of trailer manufacturing, ensuring every trailer is assembled, wired, inspected, and prepared to meet our quality standards. We are seeking team members who take pride in their work, have a strong work ethic, and are willing to learn and grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Install wood decking on trailers.
- Mount and install axles, suspension components, wheels, and tires.
- Wire trailer lighting, brake systems, and electrical components.
- Assemble trailer parts and accessories according to company specifications.
- Perform final trailer setup, inspections, and quality control checks.
- Assist with trailer preparation, including grinding, cleaning, and material handling.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform propane torch work and other fabrication-related tasks as needed.
- Assist with painting, coating preparation, and finishing operations when required.
- Identify and report defects, missing parts, or quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Trailer manufacturing, automotive, construction, or assembly experience is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
