We are a growing behavioral health organization providing high-quality virtual Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs for individuals struggling with substance use and mental health challenges. Our programs combine evidence-based therapy, structured group support, and individualized treatment plans delivered through a flexible virtual platform.
We are expanding in Pennsylvania and are looking for a motivated Community Outreach & Business Development Representative to help build strong referral relationships throughout the region.
Role Overview
This position focuses on building relationships within the local recovery and behavioral health community to connect individuals in need with appropriate treatment services.
The ideal candidate is highly relationship-driven, comfortable working in the field, and passionate about helping individuals access behavioral health care.
This role involves daily outreach to treatment providers, clinicians, recovery organizations, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
Build referral relationships with:
- Detox and residential treatment centers
- Outpatient behavioral health clinics
- Therapists, counselors, and psychiatrists
- Hospitals and emergency department social workers
- Recovery community organizations
- Sober living operators
- Drug courts and probation offices
Conduct regular in-person outreach throughout the area.
Educate referral sources on our virtual PHP and IOP programs, treatment model, and intake process.
Attend recovery community events, professional networking events, and behavioral health meetings.
Maintain ongoing relationships with referral partners and follow up on potential admissions.
Work closely with the admissions and clinical teams to coordinate appropriate referrals.
Track outreach activity and referral relationships.
Qualifications
Preferred experience:
- Behavioral health outreach or treatment center business development
- Substance use disorder treatment industry experience
- Recovery community involvement or peer support experience
- Sales, outreach, or partnership development experience
Required skills:
- Strong relationship-building abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field
- Familiarity with the Central Pennsylvania recovery and behavioral health community is a strong plus
Reliable transportation is required for local travel.
