What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dance Instructor position at Limitless Performing Arts Academy?
Limitless Performing Arts Academy is hiring a Dance Instructor! Limitless dance program includes Ballet, Tap/Jazz, Poms, and Hiphop. We are looking for instructors with multiple concentrations/experience or specific concentration.
Candidates must be self-motivated and flexible, with experience teaching a variety of ages. Job requires excellent communication, a positive attitude and outgoing personality! Must be interested in working with children and have a passion for tumbling and their students’ growth. Have a background in studio dance, competitive dance, or dance team and able to run an entire class.
Maximum class sizes are 5-12 students, and class lengths range from 30-45minutes. Classes start at age 3.
Responsibilities:
- Develops lesson plans using Limitless's curriculums to further the education goals.
- Implements lesson plans, structured activities, choreography and costuming for performances.
- Effectively collaborates with staff and faculty to produce small- and large-scale learning and performing opportunities.
- Provides hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences.
- Maintains an organized, well-supplied, clean, and safe learning environment.
- Knows and practices safety standards and policies and manages students accordingly. (Training will be given for safety standards & policies)
- Effectively manages class sizes of 5-12 students.
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with children and parents.
- Attendance and active participation in scheduled staff meeting and trainings.

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 (Based on Experience and Knowledge)
Qualifications:
Education: Requires a level of knowledge normally acquired through a high school degree or above.
Experience: Studio Dance, Competitive Dance, or Dance Team. History of teaching children is a plus!
Interpersonal Skills: Must be exceptional in the ability to relate to children and parents; build professional relationships with students and families, and maintain rapport throughout extended public exposure. Must implement instruction under the guidelines of the Director.
