About the Role:
Were seeking a compassionate, energetic, and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our pediatric therapy team! Youll work with children from birth to 18 years in a variety of settings including homes, schools, clinics, and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and group speech-language therapy sessions
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Maintain timely documentation (daily notes, progress reports, discharge summaries)
Communicate regularly with families and provide home practice activities
Monitor progress and adjust goals as needed
Collaborate with SLAs, OTs, PTs, and other team members
Attend team meetings and supervision sessions
Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging therapy environment
Supporting Functions:
Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with families and staff from diverse backgrounds.
Encourage patient and community involvement.
Promote positivity among coworkers.
Participate in professional training and extracurricular activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Achieve and maintain high productivity levels within the schedule and billable hours assigned.
Maintain flexibility and adaptability to reschedule missed sessions and promote productivity.
Maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic.
Adhere to dress code and other facility requirements.
Report to work regularly and punctually.
Collaborate effectively with all LPS staff members and families.
Adhere to LPS policies, norms, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
Current SC PT license (or license eligible)
Pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus!
