Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators under supervision for various landscaping projects
- Perform lawn care activities including fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote lush growth
- Support tree care efforts such as trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Help install hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds with precision and care
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments or repairs
- Conduct general site cleanup, debris removal, and snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe and tidy outdoor environments
Qualifications
- Prior experience or interest in landscaping, gardening, or construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators are advantageous
- Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and weed control is a plus
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions with stamina and attention to safety
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills related to horticulture and landscape maintenance
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to follow instructions carefully
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for operating equipment or assisting with project logistics
