JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES
Limitless is seeking an experienced Senior Acquisition Agent for an onsite role on a long-haul overhead electric transmission project based out of the Colorado Springs area. The position is of immediate need on a long-term project for an established client. The agent will be responsible for identifying landowners, developing relationships, and negotiating right-of-way, easement, and access agreements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and expertise in navigating a fast-paced environment. Must be organized, able to stay on task, and able to think outside the box. Conducting onsite visits and working closely with landowners to negotiate agreements and facilitate payment will be a large part of the project, so expect to be on project location the majority of the time. Background check and qualified (management or supervisory level) references must be provided.
This is six days a week (Monday–Saturday). Agents should expect to be on project location roughly 80-90% of the time. Standard IRS per diem will be provided, along with mileage and miscellaneous expenses, plus a competitive day rate.
QUALIFICATIONS
● 5 years of right-of-way or land acquisition experience, preferably long-haul transmission or midstream
● Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
● Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to interstate and intrastate right-of-way acquisition
● Ability to take detailed conversational notes and enter them into various forms of software
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team, to multitask, and to problem-solve
● Able and willing to travel to and work in remote areas
● Knowledge of GIS and mapping software is preferred, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and database software
● Rural or agricultural background and overhead electric transmission experience are a plus
● Real estate license is a plus
