Events Assistant

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, ranging from corporate meetings and conferences to social gatherings and community outreach initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of various events, including corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.
• Maintain event calendars and assist with scheduling meetings and appointments related to events.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, finalize contracts, and ensure all logistical needs are met.
• Help manage event registration processes, including attendee tracking and communication prior to the event.
• Support on-site event execution by coordinating set-up, managing timelines, and addressing any issues that arise during the event.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and ensure effective communication to target audiences.
  
  

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
