Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site position for a Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer based at our private fitness studio located at 91 Guyon Avenue in Staten Island, NY. The Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer will be responsible for leading group exercise classes, conducting personal training sessions tailored to individual goals, and providing guidance on fitness programs designed to improve strength, endurance, and overall wellness. Additional responsibilities include engaging with clients to ensure a positive experience, monitoring progress, sharing fitness knowledge, and fostering a motivating environment that reflects the community-driven mission of Limitless Athletics.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Group Exercise and Fitness Instruction to design and lead effective, versatile classes
- Experience in Personal Training and the Fitness Industry to individualize workout plans and remain current with industry trends
- Strong Customer Service skills to build positive relationships with clients and provide exceptional support
- A relevant certification is required, such as NASM, ISSA, ACSM, or ACE. Must possess or be willing to obtain within 1 month of hire.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire diverse clientele
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before starting)
- The ideal candidate will have morning availability
- Prior experience in youth or adaptive fitness programs is a plus
