Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics and analysis skills
• Repair or replace defective components utilizing welding, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and interpret control schematics for troubleshooting
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders and maintenance activities
• Conduct inspections using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess system performance
• Maintain safety standards by working with high voltage systems and adhering to lockout/tagout procedures
• Assist in field service operations as needed, including working with low voltage electrical systems and HVAC/R equipment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing equipment performance data and recommending solutions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to industrial mechanics, including working on scissor lifts or other elevated platforms

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility
• Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, welding (including welding), HVAC/R, electrical systems, and schematics interpretation
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and precision measuring instruments
• Ability to work with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems safely
• Experience operating diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters for analysis
• Knowledge of industrial electrician practices and field service operations
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex machinery issues efficiently
• Strong customer service orientation when interacting with internal teams or external clients
• Effective communication skills in English for technical documentation and team collaboration
• Additional desirable qualifications include military maintenance experience or background in technical sales related to industrial equipment
