Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics and analysis skills
- Repair or replace defective components utilizing welding, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and interpret control schematics for troubleshooting
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders and maintenance activities
- Conduct inspections using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess system performance
- Maintain safety standards by working with high voltage systems and adhering to lockout/tagout procedures
- Assist in field service operations as needed, including working with low voltage electrical systems and HVAC/R equipment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing equipment performance data and recommending solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to industrial mechanics, including working on scissor lifts or other elevated platforms
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, welding (including
welding), HVAC/R, electrical systems, and schematics interpretation - Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to work with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems safely
- Experience operating diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters for analysis
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices and field service operations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex machinery issues efficiently
- Strong customer service orientation when interacting with internal teams or external clients
- Effective communication skills in English for technical documentation and team collaboration
- Additional desirable qualifications include military maintenance experience or background in technical sales related to industrial equipment
