Salary: Position Title: Account Director(This role is hybrid role, which will require at least 1 day per month in the office in Pittsburg, Kansas. Only applicants within a 3 hour radius of Pittsburg, Kansas will be considered.)The Account Director is a professional marketer who excels at building trust and rapport with clients and enjoys working with multiple brands. This role leads the client-agency relationship and is responsible for client retention and growth, which are pivotal to the agencys success. This role will manage a portfolio of established client relationships alongside newly onboarded accounts, serving as the primary strategic point of contact across both.The Account Director ensures that strategies and deliverables align with client goals, reflect brand standards and priorities, speak to the target audience, deliver on the client's expectations, and are cohesive across consumer touchpoints. Across the board, they're growth-minded marketing leaders who need a partner that thinks strategically and executes consistently.ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship ManagementLeads high-level strategic discussions to position the agency as a partner in the clients long-term success.Identifies and secures significant growth opportunities across multiple accounts.Builds client loyalty by exceeding expectations and consistently delivering measurable results.Partners with account team members to ensure consistent service quality and supports the development of account staff through day-to-day collaboration.Influences the development of new agency services or capabilities based on client needs and industry trends.Strategic Thinking and OversightDevelops and communicates high-impact strategies that influence client business success at a strategic level.Anticipates industry shifts and positions clients to capitalize on emerging opportunities.Identifies and mitigates risks associated with strategic initiatives while maintaining long-term objectives.Contributes to the account team's collective strategic capability through shared learnings and collaborative problem-solving.Shapes the agencys strategic approach by integrating innovative frameworks, tools, and methodologies.Technical Proficiency:Leverages understanding of ecommerce platforms, marketing technology, and digital analytics to identify strategic opportunities and position solutions credibly with client stakeholders.Mentors team members on effectively positioning technical solutions to clientsInfluences service offering development based on client needs and market opportunitiesBuilds long-term client relationships through strategic technical solution alignmentLeads high-level technical strategy discussions while knowing when to bring in specialistsCommunication and CollaborationDrives a culture of transparency and accountability in all communication and collaborative efforts.Represents the agency in high-stakes meetings, demonstrating exceptional communication skills.Mentors others on effective client communication and cross-department collaboration.Develops and refines communication strategies that align with organizational goals and client success.Resolves complex conflicts diplomatically while maintaining strong relationships across all stakeholders.Qualifications5 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in a agency account management roleBachelors degree in marketing, communications or related fieldExperience with inbound and outbound marketing tactics, as well as digital marketing channels particularly search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing, content marketing, social media, email, and websitesAbility to interpret data and reporting from platforms including GA4, Klaviyo, Google Ads, and ecommerce platforms to inform strategic recommendations.A strong technical aptitude to confidently engage in conversations related to marketing and development projects.Experience in customer journey mapping, funnel mapping, and persona developmentProven analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to analyze and inform on marketing data and make recommendationsAbility to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously while working against tight deadlinesProficient in writing clear, concise, detailed briefsProven experience working with multiple client personalities and communicating timely and effective mannerA desire to work both at a strategic level and tactically on projects and campaignsExcellent decision-making skillsSelf-motivated and results-drivenWho We WantStrategic marketer who aligns marketing strategies to business goals.Relationship builder who is known for fostering high-value relationships with clients.Digital native who is comfortable working with technical projects across platforms.Creative thinker with the innate ability to ask smart questions and think outside the box.Communication role model who excels in setting clear expectations, asking the right questions, and using strong communications to drive the desired results.Passionate professional who loves marketing and has a drive for consistently meeting expectations.Top performer who has been recognized as such in their previous careers.What we offer:In addition to Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance LimeLight offers:A work environment that works best for you.
