Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere and enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to alcohol service regulations.
- Restock bar supplies regularly and coordinate with kitchen staff for food service when needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills and basic math proficiency.
- Assist with catering events or banquet services as required, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Uphold food safety standards related to food handling, serving, and alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights or special events like nightclubs or banquets.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub, restaurant, or banquet setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety practices related to food handling and beverage service.
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations are essential.
