In-Field Mechanic

We are looking for Mechanics to join our team and help maintain our fleet of shared electric vehicles. As a mechanic, you will work in a team to identify critical parts of our product lines to improve and ensure the safe operating condition of our fleet.

• Ensure operational compliance of fleet and complete quality checks for deployment 
• Perform basic maintenance in and out of warehouse
• Follow established safety procedures to ensure Lime riders are on the safest vehicles 
• Support battery management operations by ensuring accurate documentation and quality checks are completed 
• Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouseMaximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently  completing tasks assigned
• Safely operate a pallet jack or push cart on a frequent basis
• Identify issues and perform small repairs in the field on vehicles including but not limited to brake adjustments, tire inflation, and vehicle cleaning to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition when needed
• Manage parts inventories including PAR levels and demand forecast
• Safely operate a van to assist with the deployment and retrieval of Lime electric vehicles within the local market as needed
•  Additional job related tasks as assigned

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver license and good driving record
• Experience in a similar industry preferred
• Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 35 kg on a frequent basis required
• Knowledge of cell phone applications. iOS experience preferred 
• Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends  
• Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart 
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform quick and efficient repairs
• Self-motivated with and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily tasks  
• A safety-oriented mindset, capable of conducting rigorous quality checks
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with team members

 This is a contracted position that will be hired, managed, and compensated through a third-party employer. The hourly rate for this position is $20.00. This position is not eligible for benefits through Lime as this is a contract position.
