What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant position at Lima Ohio?
Busy Family Practice is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our office. Working within the Practice mission, values, objectives, policies and procedures the CNA will perform a variety of patient care activities: vitals, weight, height, patient assessment, history, health complaints, injections, immunizations, EKG recordings, ear irrigations and suture removals to name a few. This person will assist Providers with minor procedures. Will be required to contact Insurance Companies, Pharmacies, Hospitals and other Physician Offices. Must have detailed knowledge of medial terminology, pharmaceuticals, and be able to communicate appropriate medical information to all clients. This person will also be able to perform a variety of other skills, such as phone operations, scheduling, filing and use of office equipment.
