Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for the position of Investment Specialist at Lima Films. The primary responsibility of this role is to source, secure, and manage investment capital for the company’s film projects. The Head of Investment will lead all fundraising efforts, actively identifying and engaging potential investors, structuring investment opportunities, and closing financing deals to ensure projects are fully funded.
This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with investors, presenting film projects in a compelling and financially sound manner, and aligning investment strategies with the company’s production goals. The Head of Investment will work closely with the executive team to prioritize projects, determine funding needs, and ensure capital is deployed effectively across productions. Oversight of financial risk and investor reporting is also a key component of the role.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in raising capital, investment management, or investor relations
- Strong track record of securing funding or closing investment deals
- Expertise in investment strategy, financial structuring, and deal negotiation
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
- Deep understanding of financial markets and investor expectations
- Ability to identify, approach, and build relationships with high-value investors
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree is a plus)
- Strong interest in film production and the entertainment industry
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
This is a 100% commission based role. Pending performance and outcome it could convert to a salary position.
