Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Pet Care Leader to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will oversee daily pet care operations, ensuring a safe, loving, and enriching environment for animals in our care. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of pet care associates to deliver outstanding animal care and customer service.
- Oversee daily activities including group play sessions, and animal handling procedures.
- Ensure proper animal care techniques are used to maintain safety for pets and staff.
- Coordinate pet services, ensuring each animal’s individual needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
- Supervise kennel operations, including cleaning, feeding, administering medication, and maintaining records with a small team beside you. (1-3 people)
- Conduct regular training on animal handling, pet care protocols, and customer interactions to uphold quality standards.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks related to supplies or equipment while maintaining safety guidelines.
Experience
- Proven experience in pet care, dog handling, or pet grooming is highly desirable.
- Background in veterinary settings such as veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a strong plus.
- Previous kennel experience or pet sitting roles that demonstrate responsibility and reliability.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily responsibilities.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
