Sr Data Scientist - PK/PD Modeling & Automation

Lilly is looking for an inventive, motivated and eager scientist to join the Global Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics and Pharmacometrics Team. PK/PD & Pharmacometrics scientists are functional leaders in research and development throughout the value chain from preclinical lead molecule identification to clinical post-drug approval. Our goal is to identify and develop the right drug with the right dose for the right patient through the model-informed paradigm of drug R&D. These scientists will apply their knowledge of computer programming toward data processing, visualization and pharmacometrics to identify and implement opportunities for automation. This role will allow you to contribute your scientific and technical knowledge to accelerate and automate PK/PD modeling and simulation, data processing, data visualization and interpretation. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated solutions for PK/PD modeling, simulation and report writing. We need a dynamic and engaged scientist who is able to: Streamline and automate data processing, visualization and analysis workflows to increase efficiency between availability of data and creation of final study reports Develop automated reporting tools that can rapidly generate high-quality standardized reports for internal and external partners Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated solutions into existing systems and processes Provide technical support and training to team members on the use of automated tools and processes Stay up to date with the latest automation tools and pharmaceutical industry trends to improve and increase efficiency Conduct PK/PD modeling and simulation to inform drug development programs Basic Qualifications MSc or PhD in relevant scientific field such as computer science, computer engineering, bioengineering, biostatistics, data science, biological/pharmaceutical sciences Additional Skills/Preferences Knowledge of relevant programming and modeling software (e.g. Python, R, LaTex, RMarkdown, Quarto, Julia, Git, Github, Shiny, MATLAB, Pumas, NONMEM, Monolix, etc.) Experience in pharmacokinetics, pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, population PK modeling, exposure-response modeling, clinical trial simulation is an added advantage Eli Lilly and Company, Lilly USA, LLC and our wholly owned subsidiaries (collectively “Lilly”) are committed to help individuals with disabilities to participate in the workforce and ensure equal opportunity to compete for jobs.
