Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Traffic Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transportation management, inventory control, and warehouse distribution. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers while maintaining high standards of service and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Planning and Transportation Management skills to create and oversee efficient logistics schedules
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage effectively with clients and teams
- Exceptional Organization skills to manage complex logistics workflows and data
- Familiarity with relevant logistics software and tools is advantageous
- Experience in transportation or logistics management is preferred
- Knowledge of DOD policies, programs, regulations, and procedures for the movement of cargo through the Defense Transportation System (DTS); knowledge of mission and scheduling terminology to coordinate with other operations activities is a plus.
