Lilac Acres is a premier wedding venue in Waukesha County dedicated to creating exceptional wedding experiences for our couples and their guests. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and wants to help couples navigate one of the most important days of their lives.

This is a flexible, part-time position that combines customer service, venue tours, wedding planning meetings, and event-day operations.

Pay: $30/hr

What You'll Do

As a Wedding Venue Host & Client Relations Specialist, you will serve as one of the primary faces of Lilac Acres.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting venue tours for prospective couples
• Meeting with booked couples approximately 30 days before their wedding to review wedding-day plans and logistics
• Opening the venue on wedding days and assisting with venue readiness
• Providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for every couple and family
• Communicating professionally and confidently with clients
• Representing Lilac Acres with professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail

Schedule & Availability

This role offers flexibility, but availability is extremely important.

Typical responsibilities occur during:

• Weekday evenings for venue tours
• Weekday evenings for wedding planning meetings
• Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for wedding-day venue openings

Wedding-day openings generally begin around 11:45 a.m. and continue until approximately 5:00–6:00 p.m.

The wedding industry is unique because schedules are driven by our clients' availability. Some weeks may have only a few appointments, while others may involve multiple tours or meetings scheduled back-to-back.

To help create consistency, we often establish recurring availability blocks. For example, a team member may commit to Tuesday and Thursday evenings, allowing us to schedule tours and meetings during those designated times whenever possible.

Requirements

• Ability to work weekday evenings
• Ability to work some Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service, hospitality, event, wedding, or sales experience preferred but not required
