MRI Technologist

*****Sign-on Bonus: $7,500****

Position Summary:

Performs routine and some special procedure imaging. Prepares patients for procedures and assists radiologists when needed. Operates and maintains imaging equipment while ensuring adherence to established standards of care and safety. Provides quality patient care and upholds professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or ARMRIT (must become ARRT MR certified within 1 year of hire).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) — required or must be completed within 90 days of hire.
• IV certification preferred or to be completed within 6 months of orientation.
• MRI Safety Certification Level 2 required annually.
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions.
• N.Y.S. license required.
• Must maintain continuing education requirements (24 ECE credits every two years).

• Setting: Outpatient
• Schedule: Part-time — Monday, Wednesday 11 AM–7 PM; Saturday–Sunday 8 AM–4 PM
